This 4 oz homemade drawing salve, made with an olive oil base, can assist with bug bites, splinters, and other irritations. Keep in mind that the charcoal in the salve can potentially stain skin and clothing, so it's best to cover the affected area after applying.
Recipe is from my Amish friends in PA.

A recent trip to the dermatologist gave me a prescription for a spot of eczema, so thought I'd try this poke weed salve, seems to be as effective as the prescription, but will report back after use for a few weeks.
